Heavenly Father, I come to you today to pray for those who have been stricken by Hurricane Rita or any other hurricane, and for those who may be next. Please comfort those who have been devasted from a hurricane and help them to re-build their lives. I ask of you today that you please turn Hurricane Rita around and back out to sea but if that is not possible please lessen the effects of Rita so more people will not die or have their properties distroyed. Your children have been through so much already and we could really use your help Father in this urgent matter. I also pray for my sister Doris and my brother-in-law Dennis whose home is destined to be in the path of this hurricane Rita as they live in Galveston, TX. Please watch over them and their home. In JESUS name I pray! AMEN
