THIS WAS AN ESTABLISHED FORUM THREAD.
I shall leave the rest of this forum as it is as a tribute to EVERY MAN OR WOMAN who has laid down their life for what they believed to be for the common good of their country and more importantly the good for the future of mankind.
This forum was set up a year ago as a place to leave prayers . You are still welcome to do so.
Go to the last page and do so if you wish.
HOWEVER,
The world moves on, and not always as we all wish.
We have differences. Not earth shattering news.
Let's celebrate the differences that we enjoy.
Let's celebrate even more the things we have in common.
The UNITED NATIONS despite it's name, only really represents those with a voice and some influence.
There are thousands who dedicate their life's work to furthering this cause and I commend them.
They are many times better than me.
Indeed I salute those in particular who leave the comfort of their country and home to serve others overseas, but, the organisation is flawed.
It is possible for any country to join the UN if it is willing to sign up to its aims, but, this does not allow for those countries who see things differently due to their poor position in worlds financial and asset wealth.

I want to see an organisation where spiritual similarities are recognised and embraced

This is
The World Commonality Organisation
This is a place to find common ground, not differences
Join me on the
new forum of that name to start a spark to ignite love.

LEST WE FORGET
AND MANY MORE NATIONS
In Afghanistan troops from around the world are continuing to suffer in the name of world security. Whatever your politics/views on the war these soldiers are DOING THEIR DUTY to you and your country as they promised to do
Below are just a few indications of the cost to British soldiers serving there.
BRITISH CASUALTIES IN AFGHANISTAN MARCH 2006 - JULY 2009 1: Highest monthly toll with 19 dead including 12 killed when a RAF Nimrod crashes in Afghanistan. 2: British death toll reaches 100. Among the 13 fatalities in June is the first British female soldier. |
The US contribution is the largest but in terms of commitment from soldiers there is little difference.
PLEASE PRAY FOR
ALL SERVING SOLDIERS
AND
THEIR EXTENDED
FAMILIES!
Post your prayers here!
