Yes, I agree, Jesus came to show us the way to true life and abundance. We do have that abundance but like an infant who has not yet discovered his/her hands or feet, so are we when we are unaware of the abundance we were initially designed with.
When an infant discovers his/her hands it's fascinating because they come into the awareness of the existence of their hands, even though it has always been there and they were actually born with them. Then the infant begins to discover all the things he/she can do with these hands and then later on he/she discovers the feet.
Initially the infant notices the hand but is unaware that the hand actually belonged to her until that awareness is realized.
Similarly, this is our experience in knowing the abundance that belongs to us. Jesus said that we are in him and he in us and that he is in the Father. Therefore, if he is in the Father and we are in him and he is in us, then we are in the Father and are one with the Father and Jesus and with each other. We are all one.
If the Father has given Jesus all things and all the silver and gold belongs to the Father which he has given to Jesus, then it all belongs to us as well. The abundance is there, it's our heritage and has always been.
We then need to come into the conscious awareness that it belongs to us and live in the mindset that we have all that we need and desire in alignment with this abundance and that this abundance is being manifested in our lives at each stage that we need it to manifest.
As we retrain our minds in this manner we lay aside all worry knowing that God is quite capable of taking care of us and unfolding his and our abundance in due season.
