Cap & Trade will turn out to be [if passed] the single most wantonly destructive piece of legislation to come from Capitol Hill since Roe vs. Wade. House Resolution 2454 proposes some of the most sweeping and radical pro-special interest infested regulation we've ever had to face in our lifetimes. Did we ask for these regulations? Were there throngs of the dissatisfied so beholden and mesmerized by California Air Quality Management District [AQMD] standards that we felt we had to repress the economies of every other state in the union by having them imposed? The answer is an emphatic no. The State of California has been one thing and one thing only... it has been a leader in breeding a culture of out-and-out legislative and cultural dissidence. The moral and fiscal rebellion against the standards and best traditions that have proved beyond successful cannot be processed with logic and reason; but can only be entertained by apathy, disaffection and lawlessness. These successes instilled by the rule of law, and revealed by empirical evidence over successive generations who have made their fortunes and passed down to their children, generation after generation and whose participation has preserved the union to date, now seems poised to be trodden under foot and simply ignored to the point of being fascistically superimposed over the capitalist free market system that has been the benefactor of generations of untold blessings and wealth to the world, this cannot be tolerated and must be stopped.
President Obama has seen fit to exert unprecedented authority to boldly move forward to install the framework for the largest expansion of government since FDR. Not for once considering the gluts of mainstream media outlets relentlessly chiding the outgoing Bush administration for being "imperialist" - but in the end whose actions were exonerated for simply trying to bypass an obstructionist liberal majority to protect the nation. We no longer hear those voices accusing the president of overtly practicing what they accused Bush 43 of doing; they are hypocrites and liars of the highest order... we have already gotten a taste of what radical environmentalists want to do in America and it is completely antithetical to what our founding fathers gave us. Henry Waxman [D-CA] is one of our local congressman, I have been watching him since he was a Los Angeles city councilman, trust me - he was just as nutty here. Ed Markey [D-MA] as one half of the dynamic dolts duo - super blunder twins Waxman and Markey could give us a bill as fraught with fascistic over reach and communist intent as this one is. With California and Massachusetts coming together to implement these counter intuitive measures like east coast - west coast ideological gang-banging thugs, we as a nation will be railroaded into a collectivist form of government.
Dr. Karen Campbell and Dr. David W. Kreutzer analyzed the impact of the Waxman-Markey bill and found a disturbing set of circumstances not considered by the liberal congress demonstrated in a table below provided by the Heritage Foundation in which they provided the research for:
1. Gross State Product Loss in 2012: This number is the amount of economic destruction that will occur in that district in the first year of the cap-and-trade regime.
2. Average Gross State Product Loss, 2012-2035: Same as above, only it is the average economic destruction in the district for the bill's first 24 years.
3. Personal Income Loss in 2012: This number represents the reduction in consumer spending power in a district in the first year of the cap-and-trade regime.
4. Average Personal Income Loss, 2012-2035: Same as above, only it is the reduction in consumer spending power in the district for the bill's first 24 years.
5. Non-Farm Job Loss in 2012: Jobs are jobs, and in the first year of the cap-and-trade regime, each district will have significantly less than they otherwise could.
6. Average Non-Farm Job Loss, 2012-2035: This number is crucially important because it demonstrates that no district gains jobs, even in the long run; the increase in "green jobs" does not outweigh the decrease in jobs elsewhere.
The net impact of HR2454 upon closer inspection reveals something far more sinister, if applied it will be the very end of small business in America. The stunning level of over reach by this bill crosses far too many constitutional limits. They have no Constitutional authority to take a state bureaucracy and empower them to antagonize business owners on a day-to-day basis. Imagine this... if they get their way with the landmark health care proposal they want and the Senate passes HR2454 we will see Orwellian mandates levied on every aspect of our lives. They literally will tell us what we can buy and what we cannot. They hate the middle class and have always wanted some version of a neo-Romanesque dictatorial autocracy for government, one where the absolute ruling class were one step short of clinically certifiable, no middle class... and just about every social taboo you could think of was the hit parade of the day and you could die if you openly opposed it. Hmmm, sound familiar?
They will use "democracy" to get it... that is exactly what Lenin did and that is exactly what Hitler did. Use diplomatic means [the latter] to pressure the economy into a quandary then use street thugs to wreak havoc and to agitate social disorder and then in the absence of law - they present "change". On its face the German people would have openly rejected it if they knew what the consequences were, if they only knew how many of them would be openly sacrificed for someone else's dream. But deception and bigotry frosted up as the next "new" thing or aspiration coddled people into a false sense of pride and security, look what it netted them? The Cloward-Piven theory is actively at work here, you have two united front's working to actively derail the nation as we know it... if not stopped - we will be next. If we as a people dismiss accountability and consequences... our fate will be deserved.
We have already got a glimpse of the fascist means to which they will apply their utopian philosophies on a more sane and clear thinking people. If those two pass... best expect HR1966 Loretta Sanchez' mindless Orwellian thought control laid out against bloggers in the form of online hate speech regulation and the fairness doctrine to be rapidly rammed down. We will have lost [on paper anyway] the ability to be American, to openly disagree, liberals [like 5 year old tantrums] cannot and will not tolerate dissent. They cannot compete in open debates where reason reigns free it is only in collusion and consensus can they attempt to goad people into their will, and that is just what they are doing here with Cap and Trade, which is nothing more than a projected environmental emergency to put money in their pocket with the resurrected carbon credit nonsense concocted by late Kenneth lay and the grand ole folks at the currently defunct Enron. The assumptions they make to support this illicit legislation is entirely fictitious and errant, the science community as a whole has can't come together on it - so why is it being forced on us like Darwinian Naturalism is in schools when teachers cannot even agree to even teach it... because it is a theory - not a fact. When you strip away the rational; what's left [however unlikely] must be what the issue is. We are simply dealing with latte sipping coffeehouse ideologues who want another form of government and they want it now, in their lifetimes. This carbon off-set busniess is nothing more than a shake down by lazy, radical environmentalists.. we are better than this.
