The video tapes on You tube and CNN and face book told the stories that even a tyrannical government could not conceal. Citizen reporters, in Iran, risked their lives to get information out on Twitter. Protesters from Los Angeles to London to Paris to Sydney joined in an endless sea of support for their brothers, their fathers and the daughters of Iran. No one could avert their eyes from events unfolding in Iran. No one could cover their ears or turn away. There is a part of all of us that embraces courage and we are witnessing it now. Today, in the States, we will embrace our Fathers our Grand Fathers and our children to become Fathers. May they have the wisdom to understand and the courage to hope and the fortitude to change the mindlessness of oppression wherever they find it. Today it is in Iran. Today we are all Iranians.
