Antioxidants (Sorry for the Forum Title Typo)

Hi Doc Al,

I agree that antioxidants are very important for today's health challenges with the environmental pollution and the lack of nutrition in all our foods too. I believe from my experience that trace minerals are even more essential!

However, I agree all health conscious people should eat lots of "fresh" fruits of dark colors, green teas and other food sources and supplement when needed. I believe the best sources are ALWAYS for FOODS.

Great to hear from you. You are absolutely right about food being the only legitimate source of antioxidants. There are at least 15 major health benefits associated with the proper consumption of antioxidants. Did you know that unprocessed cocao (coco bean) is the number one food source of antioxidant on the planet followed by the Acai Berry? Supplements and other forms of pills usually just end up as expensive urine.
