MAKE SURE YOUR FEET ARE SHOD?
By Rev. Dean Beaty 5/25/09
Ephesians 6:15 “And your feet shod with the preparation of the
gospel of peace.” (KJV)
Each Christian is in a battle against unearthly foes.
Therefore he must wear armor everywhere he goes.
Just a tiny pebble could cause you not to win.
Let God’s Word protect you through each day that you begin.
The Greek word “preparation,” comes from the word “provide.”
This “peace” that’s so essential, from God’s word is well supplied.
We cannot win the battle without the help of God.
That why the Bible warns us, make sure your feet are shod.
This gift that God’s provided is the Gospel of God’s peace.
If we’re in the Scriptures daily, this gift will then increase.
Great peace is freely promised to those who love God’s Law
And nothing shall offend them or cause them to withdraw.
Do you have God’s peace when dark clouds are above?
Do you rest securely in the great arms of God’s love?
We’ve been well equipped with the armor of our God.
But we will not know God’s peace unless our feet are shod.
* Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them.” (KJV) (stumbling block)
