THE SLAVE MARKET OF SIN
By Rev. Dean Beaty 5/23/09
Romans 7:14 “For we know that the law is spiritual:
but I am carnal, sold under sin.” (KJV)
Paul uses the term, being “Sold under sin.”
It’s ugly but true that’s where all men begin.
A slave market of souls and Satan is there.
He is loaded with cash and has plenty to spare.
He’s a high bidder, this buyer of souls.
To enslave us with sins, these are his goals.
“Going once, going twice.” Is the bidding all done?
Then Jesus steps forth, yes, its God’s only Son.
In just the last moment with no time to spare;
He holds up a deed and my name’s written there.
“I paid for this soul with the blood of my cross
And he is now free from all bondage and loss.”
Then Satan turns with a devilish sneer.
“I’ll get the next one when you are not here.”
But God’s always there with a pardon of grace,
With enough blood to free the whole human race.
But some don’t believe that they can be free.
So they leave with the Devil to his wild hellish glee.
It’s all up to you. Which one will you choose?
With Jesus you win, with Satan you lose.
