There's the Exit ---->

Was anyone happy the day they graduated high school? I mean not just graduating, but actually getting to leave that horrible place. Or what about the opposite? Was anyone totally bummed on their last day? I know I ran home as fast as I could, smiling from ear to ear for the first time since I was a toddler.

I absolutely hated school.  It was one of the happiest times of my life it probably ranked 3rd next to getting married and having my children.

I with you I ran home as fast as I could smiling form ear to ear and I have never looked back.

Hi Jayson,

I was happy to leave the place, but not happy to leave my friends.  But you can't it both ways.  I never liked school very much either.  So leaving school was a good thing for me.
Graduation was good to go.

Hi Jayson,

I didn't hate high school but didn't love it either.  There were tons of people and very loose school rules, it was like every long day of an indoor or sneaking-outdoor party with some uptight classes in between.  What I didn't like was the "fashion show" atmosphere and also some stress in the advanced classes from being surrounded by highly motivated people part of the day and then regular classes being surrounded by complete goofballs the rest of the day.

I don't remember the actual last day of school, but the graduation a few days later was a very hot and humid day, very sweaty and lots of puffy hair and too-long speeches.  I WAS glad it was over.  I had a few good friends I stayed in touch with for 2 years until I moved away, then lost track.

Hello Jayson,

I also hated high school and could not leave quick enough,
I always said I would never go back into a class room again
for more education.
