Are we of less value to the future, since we're not written on cave walls? Our thoughts are here on the fragile internet which is only ON if the electricity is ON, if the bandwidth is ON??
Who's going to know if it all disappears? None of the future people will be able to dig it up or discover it. Will we be gone??
Finding ONE cave drawing from ONE caveperson is spectacular, but finding NONE of our millions of writings is from millions of us in this intellectual pile is not so intellectual, is it? Are we no longer tangible???
WHAT IMAGE WOULD I PUT HERE? All we know or all we don't know or all we've found or all we've lost?? All humanness that we don't want to share, people being people, being cavepeople, drawing on a wall could have much more longlasting impact than this.
