A  MOTHER’S  GIFT

Proverbs 31:28 “Her children arise up, and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praiseth her.” (KJV)

If you had a mother who taught you of God’s Word.

The wealth that she bestowed, above gold is preferred.

Gold may last a lifetime or vanish in thin air.

But God’s Word is eternal, there’s nothing to compare.

You cannot take gold with you when this life is through

Or buy your way to heaven with all that you accrue.

The Bible does them both in teaching of New Birth.

Your mother chose the best of all things on the earth.

Mothers are not perfect; even those who teach God’s Word.

Her children call her blessed for the wealth that she conferred.

And this was brought about in answer to her prayer.

In Christ she gave you riches and wealth beyond compare.

If you’ve a mom in heaven or one that will be there.

You were blest by God with the best of child-care.

When they enter heaven they’ll hear God say, “Well done.”

For moms who teach the Bible are rated number one.
