Being considered an MLM legend along with my partner (each with over 25 years of experience and in just our last 2 ventures had combined teams of over 500,000 distributors and our groups generated close to $2 billion in sales with numerous people on our teams earning up to $1 million a year and more, and today have large global groups in 2 companies), and having an extensive background in the Internet technology arena, when I see statements that this is going to be bigger than MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube put together, I can't help but laugh hysterically at the person making such a comment (if they only knew how stupid they sounded) and I say to myself, "they didn't just drink a little "kool aid," they're plum intoxicated as well as very naieve."
I seriously doubt this will be around in 2 years in any significant form...it will die the same death that all the social networking website deals have, the online gaming deals, the online shopping deals, etc...There is no way they are going to drive the traffic that MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube generate, not in this lifetime, and they certainly don't have the resources or the money that those 3 have, let alone the name recognition.
A lot of hype, a quick growth spurt where a couple of people make big bucks of the hordes of lottery tickent mentality opportunity seekers who will throw some money at it in hopes of making it big without having to work too hard, and then when the general public doesn't follow the network marketers en masse, the wheels will begin to slowly grind to a halt...
Network marketing, for the average person in particular, should be about putting the odds of success in their favor, not trying to beat the odds...Getting involved with a start up is trying to beat the odds, and we know what usually happens in doing that!
Do you know the 6 keys to look for in evaluating an opportunity and whether you should get involved? Most people here at Adland Pro have no idea! They jump from the latest, greatest, new start up "deal" to the next latest, greatest new start up "deal," never achieving any long lasting success. It's why they will always fail unless they get lucky and no smart entrepreneur bets his success on luck!
Hopefully this information will help most of you here...
Since the year 2000, the companies with the fastest growth, the most success, and where distributors have earned the biggest incomes have had these 6 traits:
1) they were in health and wellness and/or in new and emerging opportunities such as environmental related markets;
2) they were single product companies or one concept driven opportunities such as weight loss with just several products (they did not have tens, hundreds, or thousands of products);
& 3) they had binary pay plans with matching bonuses.
If you want to put the odds of success in your favor, look for a company that intially meets these 3 criteria. Then here are the final 3 key criteria:
4) AVOID brand new start ups! 98% of ALL new start up companies will fail in their first 2 years! Look for a company at least 3-4 years old.
5) Here is the real key! Look for a company that is about to hit or has recently hit $50-$100 million a year in sales. Why? Historically when companies hit this number they will triple to quadruple in size in the following 12-18 months. It is during this window of time that the fortunes are really earned! You want to be in just prior to this happening!
In fact, usually after tripling to quadrupling over a period of 12-18 months, they will usually double in size again in the next 12-18 months...It is during this 3 year period of back to back, explosive exponential growth when the real fortunes are earned!
6) Finally, sponsor with the right person, the right group, & take advantage of "positioning."
We're aware of 2 companies that meet ALL 6 of the above criteria, and the best part is they are just now expanding into some of the biggest markets in the world, such as India, and by getting positioned, there's that important word again, by getting "positioned" you could end up with a significant amount of volume from India and other new markets ending up below you! Now that's called working smart!
Here's what we know hasn't worked: Internet oriented programs and other hair brained schemes with a matrix pay plan. (Obviously people who sign up in any opportunity with a matrix plan have no understanding of pay plans nor do they possess any indepth knowledge of the history of our industry!
Matrix plans have never worked! Only 1 company in 50 years, 1, has had any measurable long term success, and even that company has had to modify their plan on numerous occassions in order to retain leaders.
It's the reason why no one in their right mind who is concerned about long term success would launch a company with a matrix pay plan, let alone work one as a distributor, yet everyday here at Adland Pro you see people promoting programs with a matrix pay plan...I just love to see "lots of spillover!" LOL...The further you go down in a matrix, the less spillover you are going to see. It's actually the opposite of lots of spillover...virtually no spillover!
People who are looking to start a "deal" and make some big money quick like matrix plans because of all the breakage....but distributors end up making less than in any other pay plan...
Well, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink...You can share information with people and give them advice, but whether they choose to follow it is another matter. If you are wanting to increase the odds of success, use the "6 Key Criteria" in making a decision, in which case you'd wait several years before getting involved with MMT...
If you feel like rolling the dice and gambling, and want to put the odds of success against you to the tune of 100 to 1 against you, then get involved in new start up deals like MMT...but once you've done that 3-4 times in a row your spouse will be ready to leave you, or you will be thinking that network marketing doesn't work! No, it works, it works real well when you put the odds of success in your favor in making a decision about an opportunity and when you take a serious business like approach to it, not a lottery ticket, I'll throw a few dollars at this thing because I really don't want to work that hard mindset which seems to be rather prevalent here..
In either case good luck...If you'd like to know the 2 companies that meet all 6 of the criteria mentioned above, email us at: themlmdreamteam@hotmail.com
