I made these cookies last evening. They taste even better the next day after making them. They are easy to make, too.

Lemon Whippersnappers

1 package lemon cake mix

2 1/2-3 cups cool whip

1 large egg, beaten

Directions:

Combine first three ingredients. Roll spoonfuls of dough in powdered sugar. Place on cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing from pan.

Yes, you could use any flavor cake mix.

I did not grease the pan, so a few cookies stuck to it. My spray for greasing it was old, so I threw it out.

In my oven the cookies took about 12-14 minutes. I took the first ones out in 10 minutes, which is what the recipe suggested. However, they were not done in the center so I revised the length of time they need to bake.
