When I first went online to work on the net,it had to be Free. As I knew nothing and was reluctant to splash out cash. Being Scottish,cash is not parted with easily.
That is when I joined the FFA. You are laughing,I can hear you. The problem then was I did not think it was doing very well for me. So,I went and started advertising. Cost me a fortune and the results were no better. Then I bought leads,just as bad.
Now my traffic comes to me. No more searching for it. Also it is fresh,as I was then.
My click through rate is much higher. Newbies are curious people and will look at your site.
There is no good reason not to have an FFA site. Though many folk of course want you to spend thousands on their traffic !!
Why not let the traffic come to you ?
