	EarthHour! www.earthhour.org March 28, 2009, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. For more than one hour the whole town cut off the electricity.Kilkis joined millions of people around the globe in turning off the lights for one hour -- Earth Hour -- to make a bold statement about climate change. Hundreds of Greek cities participated in Earth Hour 2009. Our climate is changing rapidly and already the effects are being felt. The impacts will grow and will profoundly affect current and future generations, wildlife and everything else we care about. I joined EarthHour 20 days through FaceBook. Most of my neighbours turned off the lights at their homes for a shorter period and participated symbolic. All State and official building had the lights off. Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia with the attendance of 2.2 millions of households and enterprises that turned off their lights for one hour. More than 50 million people switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2008. Sicerely, Georgios

	Hello Georgios, we turned our lights off here in Queensland Australia, which was last night for us, being ahead of you time wise. Many Australians support Earth hour and are aware of the climate changes Peace Love and Light Sheila

	Hi Sheila! I am glad to have an Aussie friend first in here and I am more glad to know that you joined this event by turning off your lights.
