Happy Sunday !!
Just thought I'd share the comments of the children I spoke with this past week and their observations over some most important issues, at least for them:
Q: What do you think is the most important thing all people should be concerned about ?
A: Food. ( Five year old little boy )
Q: Do you think we should have bailed out the people who were losing their business ?
A: How much did the judge say the bail was ? ( Eight year old boy )
Q: Do you think kids should watch more television ?
A: My computer doesn't have television. ( Ten year old boy )
Q: Do you think children your age should be able to stay out with their friends late at night ?
A: I don't think my baby sitter likes my friends. ( Six year old girl )
Q: What would you do with a million dollars ?
A: Put it all in the bank for one year and live off the interest. ( Fourteen year old boy)
A: Buy my grandmother a new car and a trip for my folks. I think I'd buy some clothes for the poor people too. ( Seven year old girl )
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be ?
A: Any place they have toilet paper. ( Five year old boy )
Q: How can people be really happy ?
A: Stop being sad. ( Nine year old girl )
A: Stay away from my neighbor mister Talbot; he's angry a lot. ( Six year old boy)
Q: Do you think God still loves us ?
A: I think God loves us. But we need to love him too. ( Seven year old girl )
A: Sure. He's just busy alot and can't give everyone a hug all the time. ( Five year old boy )
Have a wonderful day everyone !
