LET  YOUR  LIGHT  SHINE

Matthew 5:14-16 “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set

on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under

a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the

house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good

works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (KJV)

Did I show the love of Christ to others on this day?

Did they see the Lord in me as going on their way?

I may be the only Christ that they will ever know.

Help me Lord in all I do, Thy wondrous love to show.

We’re not to hide our candle to where it can’t be known

But place it on a lamp stand and let its light be shown.

Illuminate the darkness, there’s so much of it around.

Just one little candle can make the way be found.

Christ Jesus is the way.  He is the truth, the life.

When He comes again He’ll end this world’s strife.

Till then He’s left us here to tell men of the light.

Work while it is day for soon it will be night.

For when the Lord appears it then will be too late.

The choice already made will seal the sinner’s fate.

So friend while there is time, ask forgiveness of your sin.

Humbly call on Jesus name and ask Him to come in. (Revelations 3:20)

Revelations 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (KJV)
