The 3Day Dancers support our troops!
Below is a picture of a platoon of soldiers serving in Iraq who received a care package from the 3Day Dancers!
The request was for sports bras, pink silicone awareness bracelets & a banner for a picture, but we also added some additional goodies, like pink ribbon socks, lanyards, lapel pins and 3Day Dancers M&M's. The platoon has several co-survivors (family members of women in treatment), and one brave young woman who got special dispensation to shave her head in support of her aunt currently in treatment ( women in the US military are not allowed to shave their heads).
These men & women are proudly serving their country, and we are honored that they took the time to pose for a picture and we continue to pray for their safety.
The platoon has requested the following items:
Salty snacks, magazines, power bars, vitamins, tampons, regular size shampoo & conditioner, notebooks, footballs, water guns, sour candy, blank cards (thank you, happy birthday, miss you, etc.), air fresheners, Gummy Bears & ranch sunflower seeds.
If you can help with any of the above, please email our captain at: jeanmarie@3daydancers.org
