MOVED WITH COMPASSION

Matthew 9:36 “But when He saw the multitudes, He was
moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and
were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”(KJV)
Jude 1:22 “And of some have compassion, making a difference:”
If you could know each stranger’s name,
Could see them burning in hell’s flame,
Would you then still feel the same
And fail the Savior to proclaim?
Just look again upon the field.
Its white harvest about to yield.
Their lost estate is almost sealed,
Because Christ’s name we have concealed.
See them in their lost estate,
For that will be their hellish fate.
From Christ we have this one mandate:
To speak of Him before too late.
When Jesus saw the multitude
Compassion was His attitude.
If we could see what Jesus viewed
Our love for souls would be renewed.
If in our hearts we truly care,
The name of Christ we’d have to share.
If true compassion weren’t so rare,
The Gospel we would then declare
