UNFORGOTTEN

Isaiah 49:15-16 “Can a woman forget her sucking child,

that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?

Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;” (KJV)

Do you ever feel like your life is rotten?

Perhaps you think that you’ve been forgotten.

Even a mother can forget her own child.

But God never will, if you’ve been reconciled.

As the child of the King, you are safe and secure.

No matter your trials, God’s love will endure.

He has graven your name on the palm of his hand.

In His presence and love forever you’ll stand.

So cheer up my friend though the day may be drear.

With Christ as your Lord you have nothing to fear.

Jesus died just for you and rose from the grave,

Ascended on high and is mighty to save.

You’ve not been forsaken by your Father above.

Draw nigh unto God and rest in His love.*

He’ll not let you go even when you have sinned.

If you are God’s child; you’ll be one to the end.

*James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts,

ye double minded.” (KJV)
