It looks like I have to take a trip across the river. I was in the gift business for over 20 years! I still have a passion for gift shops!! One of the largest and most successful ones here in this neck of the woods is in Blue Ball, PA - It's called the Flower and Basket Warehouse, and it is a warehouse filled with every type of basket and silk flower or plant you could possibly think of, and now off of the warehouse, they have added some of prettiest gifts I have seen. All told it is over 100,000 square feet.
They also have a large craft section. I have been out of the gift business for 9 years, but I still do some consulting work to the retailers in our area and I still have a huge passion for gift shops.
Congratulations, Lee. I know how much work is involved in getting a store open, and I know the thrill and the fulfillment and the fear - So, first chance I get, I am taking a drive to Little Ferry , NJ
