Dear Right to Hike Supporters,

We would like to ask for the help of all of you to honor someone very special to not only our organization, but also the community as a whole. Though our hearts will always be heavy with how the search ended for Meredith, we have always believed that she helped to stop a serial killer and saved countless of other lives.

GBI Special Agent John Cagle was the lead investigator for Meredith's search and was responsible for bringing a terrible string of violence to an end. Mr. Cagle and his team worked tirelessly to find justice for not only Meredith, but for three other individuals who met her same fate. To him, we will forever be grateful.

Mr. Cagle has been nominated for the America's Most Wanted All-Star Award for his exceptional work and we could not imagine anyone more deserving of this award.  Mr. Cagle has been one of Right to Hike's biggest supporters and he has extended his generosity to include that if he wins, he would donate his prize to this foundation. A true testament to his character.
