NATIONS  THAT  FORGET  GOD

Psalm 9:17 “The wicked shall be turned into hell,

and all the nations that forget God." (KJV)

Psalm 14:1 “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.”(KJV)

America, for fifty years, has chosen a Godless way.

When a nation forgets the Lord there’s a price that it must pay.

We’ve left the education of our kids to Godless schools.

With no moral guidance they’ve become amoral fools.

Wisdom cannot come from fools even with a PhD.

Now these children are grown up and elected to D.C.

They will not turn for wisdom from the True and Living God.

That’s why we’re in this awful mess.  Why should we think it’s odd?

Now we’re bankrupt financially as well as morally too.

They have told us lies so long we’ve begun to think they’re true.

When they don’t pay their taxes, their excuse is they forgot.

Yet still they are promoted even when these cheats are caught.

We’re getting what we deserve when the Bible is left out.

We are headed now for chaos and that’s without a doubt.

If we would seek the face of God and turn from wicked ways,*

Then humbly ask Him to forgive, we would see better days.

*II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by My name, shall humble

themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then

will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (KJV)

THE  JUDGMENT  HAND  OF  GOD

Hosea 8:7 “For they have sown the wind, and they shall

reap the whirlwind:” (KJV)

If we can be sickened by the sins of today;

A Holy Righteous God can’t just look away.

When we look all around and see men so impure,

The long suffering of God will not always endure.

We kill the innocent at the moment of birth,

There’s just not a lot to be said for our worth.

The elderly are next for they’re in the way.

To keep them alive we just cannot pay.

Like Daniel we need to get down on our knees.

And pray that our Father will again hear our pleas.

Oh Father, forgive us for the sins of our land

Give us Thy mercy, withhold judgment’s hand.

We confess unto Thee that our sins have been great.

Give us a revival before it’s too late.

Send Thy Holy Spirit to sweep over this land.

Forgive us our sins that again we may stand.

We’re reaping today for the sins we have sinned.

We have sown to the wind and reaped a whirlwind.

We pray for forgiveness which we do not deserve.

Thy people dear Lord, may Thy mercy preserve.
