S O R R O W

I Thessalonians 4:13-14 “But I would not have you to be

ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye

sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe

 that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in

Jesus will God bring with him.” (KJV)

“We sorrow not as others.”

Whether brothers, sisters, mothers

Who’ve gone on home before us.

For, for them it is a plus.

If Jesus was their Savior,

Now Glory they can savor.

They know now the why and wherefore,

Of all that has gone before.

All their tears are wiped away

In Heaven’s glorious day.

No more sickness, parting or pain.

With the Savior they shall reign

Remember what Jesus said

Concerning one that was dead?

“I’m the resurrection and the life.”

He’s the end of this world’s strife.

Christ gave us this guarantee.

“He that believeth in Me,

Though he were dead, yet shall live…”*

Eternal life is His to give.

*John 11:25, 26 “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection,

and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead,

yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me

shall never die. Believest thou this?
