WELL DONE
Matthew 25:21 “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and
faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will
make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” (KJV)

If this was the last year you spent on this earth,
What would you do that would be counted as worth?
Not as judged by the world, which will soon pass away,
But by All Mighty God on that great judgment day.
Would you spend effort to rise in the ranks,
Or gather more money to put into banks?
We all have to work by the sweat of our brow,
But there’s something far greater than the here and the now.
God says, “Lay up treasure where, thieves do not steal.”
Where we put our treasure, are our heart and our zeal.
Out treasure, time and talents all come from the Lord.
They’re not just for earth or something to hoard.
Give back what God gives in your service to Him.
The Lord will repay till it runs over the brim.
It’s worthless my friend, to put gold in your grave.
All the things left on earth, there’s no way to save.
This may be the last year the world goes around.
So choose for the Lord an investment that’s sound.
Set a straight course so that the vict’ry is won.
Then you’ll hear the Lord say, “My servant, well done.”
