DON’T MAJOR ON MINOR POINTS
Philippians 1:15-18 “Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.” (KJV)

We may not all agree on some lesser minor points.
In the body of Christ we make up the bones and joints.
We’re fitly framed together to work in harmony.
We preach salvation’s message that comes by grace that’s free.
Some folk think that only they will enter heavens door.
But when they get to glory they’ll find a whole lot more.
Christ said the path is narrow and He’s the only way.
But if by faith you trust Him, then I’ll see you there someday.
Our Savior made it simple so even a child may come.
But wise men find it difficult because they are so dumb.
The rich are also hindered because of what the own.
They don’t see why they should bow before God’s throne.
Now some things are not minor that pulls the church apart.
Christ blood and grace through faith is where we all must start.
The Bible is inspired of God, to this we must confess
We must not seek our fellowship with the world’s unrighteousness.
There are certain fundamentals that form the Christian creed.
How “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”(Amos 3:3)
May God give us His wisdom when we look into His Word.
Large numbers don’t make “right,” so don’t just join the herd.
