Hi Everyone!

The new overhauled POTW will soon be in effect.  It will be a focal place of the community on an ongoing basis, not just a place to run in and click a dot once a week. 

Nominations will ONLY be accepted by people who are ACTIVE, not by freshly newborn accounts with no friends. 

We'll be requiring a list of nominees, so prepare by thinking about LOTS of friends that you'd like to nominate.  

There will be a thread with perpetual links back to the forums of everyone who announces the POTW forum.  If you bring traffic to the POTW forum, traffic will come back to your forum.

This will be a full-circle promotion of those who are active and want to participate.   Get ready, be open to new ideas, gather your good manners and good friends. 

No bad behavior will be tolerated.  This is important not just for the reason of being civilized, but because we won't be using the old ballot, we'll really need to pull together as a community and be cordial to each other!  Get used to it if that's not part of your daily way of being!  Haha.

Take a look around, visit people, encourage new people to be more active and stay active.   No one with zero friends will be allowed to participate.  If new people want to take part in the election/nominations, first they need to take part in the community.

If you don't have a forum yet, it's a good idea to start one so you'll be able to tell your forum members to visit the POTW forum and then you'll get a link back from the POTW forum to yours.

It hasn't started yet, this is just a preliminary message to let you know big changes are coming soon and it may take some time to become accustomed to a new way of doing things. 

This will promote MORE activity, more friendships, more involvement in the community as a whole, more awareness of those around us, and more reciprocal appreciation for those who appreciate the POTW forum as an important part of our community!

Think BIG!  You ARE up for it!!  Rebirth is not an easy process.  We're all intelligent people here and many of us are tired of the same old same old.  Let's make some ripples in a too-long stagnant pool!
