ABRAHAM  AND  LOT

Genesis 19 & 22

Abraham and Lot, their trials are well known.

Both were found willing to sacrifice their own.

Abe offered Isaac upon a mountain top.

Holding the knife high, God told him to stop.

Lot had two daughters in a city full of sin.

He offered them up to appease the town’s men.

From the city of Sodom, Lot had to be torn.

By its wicked influence two infants were born.

They fathered two nations which both turned from God.

Moab and Ammon, by idols were flawed.

From Abraham’s son sprang Israel’s great tree.

From which came our Savior whose blood set us free.

Which way your kids go is all up to you.

You know from God’s Word an offering is due.

To whom do you sacrifice your children today?

To God or the Devil, there’s only one way.
