PRAYERS FOR...I don't usually "pray" as a habit but a good friend of mine was hit by a speeding car on October 28th, the driver was going over 40 mph in a 25 zone. He had multiple injuries but no internal and no spinal, thank goodness! But he's still finding tiny bits of glass in his face 2 months later, and has longterm nerve damage to one arm and needs knee surgery. Listen, people....speed limits are there for a reason...the chances of severe injury or death are greatly increased just within a 10 mph difference of 25 to 35. I made a handmade rosary for him. There are only a few prayers in the rosary, but they need to be repeated repetitively. Repetition is the key to everything, praying, advertising, everything. Keep doing the same things over and over and you'll see results. Whether your results are good or bad depends on your good or bad actions.
Our upbringing never leaves us, in times of stress, the Catholic prayers and making handmade items like my grandmothers and my mother and aunts did, really brings it all home. In the likeness of God, I believe we're supposed to create all we can so our offspring will never forget...Grandma made all these potholders and Christmas ornaments, all the cousins have dozens of them and so do we. Let's not leave this earth without leaving a large amount of remembrance.
