PRECIOUS IN HIS EYES
Zechariah 4:10
By Rev. Dean Beaty 12/23/08
Our talents may be small and the number may be few.
Even if just one, the Lord will make it do.
The lad gave God two fishes and He made use of them.
Christ said about a donkey, “The Lord hath need of him.”(Luke 19:31)
Our gifts may be for others, but first they’re to the Lord.
If meant for God alone, they won’t lose their reward.
A very crucial lesson we must grasp right from the start.
It’s not as seen by others, for God looks on the heart.
The widow gave her mite. It was all the woman had.
When Jesus looked upon it, He was very, very glad.
It’s not amount or beauty and it doesn’t have to shine.
It’s the attitude behind it, “Lord all I have is Thine.”
So bring your mite and fishes. David gave his sling.
When he gave it to the Lord it became a mighty thing.
The offering of small things the Lord will not despise.
If it’s given to the Lord, it is precious in His eyes.
