The Fun of Yule
Yule time comes to us once a year
to fill all Hearts full of Joy,
With all the children making their
lists of every kind of toy.
They want to help decorate the house
and tree with colored lights,
Adding decorations and tinsel to
add beauty to the sights.
Playing so happily inside and then outdoors
in the knee deep wet cold snow,
Coming back inside to dry off and change as
we let others see our redness show.
Celebrating the time that is where everyone
is Joyful and full of cheer,
Coming across very few that are unhappy
and only want stay hurt and sneer.
Always attempting to cheer their Spirits
as much as we actually dare,
We do this to show these people there
are some people who do care.
Gathering all together to share the joy with
everyone's friends and family clan,
Doing this 3 or 4 times a year but Yule
time is for all to travel and plan.
So my wish on this wonderful and
cheerful time for Yule night,
Is for mankind to join together in Peace
as there is no need to fight.
As many years ago they came together
and were all just a stranger,
When they came in joy to see the Honored
baby laying in his straw manger.
