GOD DOES NOT PLAY BY OUR RULES

Any game that I’ve ever played,

Had certain rules that first were laid.

To find out who could boast the more,

Someone had to keep the score.

But challenging God is just for fools.

God doesn’t play by man-made rules.

When I added my own scorecard,

I knew from heaven I would be barred.

But when I saw my final score,

My sins were gone, there were no more.

There on the card so clear and plain,

Was a big red spot; a bloody stain.

The blood of Christ had washed it clean.

No sin at all could now be seen.

Thank you Lord for this and more.

Because Christ died, you don’t keep score.
