THE  FOUR  GREATEST  THINGS

Four great things I’m thankful for that cannot be explained.

These wondrous things are gifts from God which never could be gained.

I’m thankful for God’s grace to me and its all sufficiency.

Christ’s finished work for all mankind, as paid on Calvary.

God’s mercy knows no ending point; everlasting in its scope.

Withholding judgment for my sin, by this I now have hope.

Mercy plays a vital part; not getting what I’m due.

Without God’s mercy mixed with grace my doom would be in view.

God’s unconditional love to me to give His Son to die.

I cannot comprehend such love or give the reason why.

Why He loved me while yet in sin is more than I can know.

He took my sins upon Himself and cleansed me white as snow.

God’s full forgiveness is complete; no sin can now be seen.

Christ’s blood has paid my debt in full.  My slate has been wiped clean.

By faith alone we must believe Christ’s blood has paid the price.

Then ask Him to forgive our sins; cleansed by His sacrifice.
