SEEDS  OF  SIN

Numbers 32:23 “Be sure your sins will find you out.”

The laws of sowing seed apply to sin also.

Hoping for crop failure, won’t cause them not to grow.

The consequence of sin, just like a seed that’s sown,

May yield a hundred-fold when it is fully grown.

The harvest of the seed may not be seen today.

But like the law of gravity, it will not go away.

The seed may lie there dormant for many, many years.

But eventually it sprouts; it always reappears.

The bounty of the harvest is God’s choice, never ours.

But don’t expect the fruit to be pleasant-smelling flowers.

The crop that grows from seed that once we thought was cute.

In time will reproduce a stinking rotten fruit.

We may think that we can hide or that God will just forget.

But our harvest day will come in the season of regret.

These laws are true for all, no matter how much clout.
