THANKFUL FOR GOD’S GIFTS

I’m thankful for God’s mercy that looks beyond my guilt.

Demanding not my payment but Christ’s own blood was spilt.

I thus did not receive the judgment for my sin.

But by Thy loving mercy I was cleansed within.

I’m thankful for God’s grace that gave new life to me.

Receiving full forgiveness and all of it was free.

The debt I could not pay; Christ paid on Calvary.

Complete and full salvation for all eternity.

I’m thankful for God’s love while I was lost in sin.

God’s love gave Christ the Son to lost and dying men.

His love led Him to die in suffering and shame.

Now I’m born again by faith in Jesus name.

I’m thankful for God’s peace He gave to me that day.

Satan has no power to take that peace away.

By mercy, grace and love my soul is white as wool.

By the blood of Jesus my debt was paid in full.
