Challenges Trina L.C. Sonnenberg
We all have challenges in life, ranging from the
small to the very, very tall. It is important to remember that, at least in my
opinion, everything happens for a reason, and that what doesn't kill you will
make you stronger. I believe that if we let our challenges consume us, we are
lost. We lose control of ourselves; we lose our power when we let the ngative
circumstances of our lives become our primary focus.
I know that it is a difficult task, to not think about that
which is troubling you; however, it can and must be done in order to progress.
If it can't be completely pushed from the mind, the negativity that is, then
change its direction. Think about finding the solution, rather than drowning in
the problem itself. That changes the negative to a positive. It gives you
strength to overcome.
My experiences of late have proved this to me.
Actually, I have a lifetime of experiences that have proved this out, but
recently, I have written about the challenges I currently face and got to
thinking about the solution rather than giving the problem the power to hold me.
I kept asking the question, What can I do to solve this once and for all?
I stopped asking, Why me? and asked for a solution instead. I received
that solution in short order. Now I have changed the negative to a positive by
embracing the solution and achieving power over the situation.
We all
have the power within ourselves to overcome any challenge we may face. We just
need to shed the negative; search for and ask for the solution to that
challenge. Rather than thinking that the mountain is too high, ask for help in
climbing it. Find the determination from within to succeed. It is within you.
The challenges we face in life are meant to help us grow; they are not
meant to keep us in bondage. Set yourself free. Change your thinking and allow
yourself to learn, to blossom, to succeed.
Reclaim your power. Every
problem has a solution; go find yours!
What I am grateful for
today:
