Hi Jim,
Shariah Law, isn't law here in the uk, in fact it has been discussed over here but thats as far as its got.
I don't like losing anything, but one thing I don't like are sore losers, and John Mc Cain isn't one of them his speech last night proves this, but there were some rednecks in his audience that didn't like it.
I just wish everyone would move on and stop being paranoid, I even saw a forum thread that said someone was praying that they would still be able to practice their religion in 2009.
What I said to myself when I read it isn't repeatable, well not here anyway as I don't wont to upset the gentle folks. The USA's foreign policy over the last 8 years has left a bad taste in everyones mouth, so what did you expect to get back in again?
Its time to reflect on the republicans campaign and the wisdom of selecting a woman who believes that the human race started in Genesis and not millions of years ago! If you select a vice president that only appeals to the hunting lobby and rednecks, then you are not going to pull in the popular vote.
I am sure that in another 2 years if Obama hasn't worked any magic with your economy or improved the status of the US abroad, then that will be the time to select a candidate like John Mc Cain but make sure they get the choice of vice president right.
If Sara Palin appears as a presidential candidate the next time round, then god help us all.
Best Wishes
John.
