Here is a beef stew recipe that differs from the stew I make, so I will give it a try.
Beef Stew
2 pounds stew beef, do not brown 3 celery stalks cut into pieces 4 or 5 carrots cut into pieces 2 medium onions, sliced 3/4 tsp. salt 2 Tablespoons tapioca Pepper 1/2 cup tomato juice
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and put into a covered casserole. Bake in 250 degree oven for 4 hours.
