THE  MASTER  PLAN

We’re to serve the Great King and do all that we can,

But never forget there’s a great master plan.

Even when it seems not to be going God’s way,

He’s still in control at the end of the day.

I look at the turmoil all around our great land,

And wish I had power to take it in hand.

I know exactly the things I would do.

It sure wouldn’t take a genius IQ.

But there is a reason for the fix that we’re in.

Man still has a nature that’s corrupted by sin.

Until God’s in control this mess will go on.

I pray it is soon that this great day will dawn.

Till then I’m to work and keep doing my part,

To show men how Jesus can enter their heart.

The problems we face can’t be fixed by a man.

We need to surrender to the Great Master’s plan.
