J U D A S   A N D   Y O U

Judas was one of Jesus’ men he even held their purse.

From greed of gold and a sin filled soul, he bears an eternal curse.

He sold the Savior for thirty coins; they say ‘twas the price of a slave.

Yet Jesus died for Judas too as His precious blood He gave.

You’ve something in common with Judas the thief; Christ died for him and you.

That’s only one thing, don’t make it more.  Please don’t reject Jesus too.

Perhaps of this fact you’ve never thought; that you might meet Judas someday.

Count on it, it’s true.  With him you’ll be, if the Savior you turn away.

You don’t have to sell Christ as Judas did to suffer the very same fate.

Just turn your back and walk away and or wait until it’s too late.

Jesus is calling your heart to repent.  The way of salvation is clear.

Repent of your sin, trust Jesus to save.  Do it now while He’s near.

“Lord, I’m a sinner, lost and undone.  Forgive me of all of my sin.”

“Come into my heart, I give it to you.”  If you will you’ll be born again.

Words will not save you just ‘cause there said.  By faith Jesus enters your heart.

If you will trust Him by faith in His word.  The Savior will never depart.

JUDAS’ FOLLY

You know of Christ’s betrayer; Judas was his name.

To plot this awful deed he must have been insane.

He had seen the Savior walk upon the sea.

Saw Him cause the lame to walk and make the blind to see.

These miracles Christ did proved His power and His might.

Yet Judas thought mere soldiers to take and bind Him tight.

As Christ had said to Peter, “The angels I could call.”

“Twelve legions at my bidding.”  Enough to kill them all.

What was Judas thinking?  If Christ wanted to resist;

Just a word from Jesus and they would not exist.

Had greed not entered in and blinded his weak mind;

He would have realized, no rope, the Lord could bind.

Christ said, “I am the way, the truth, the life, the door.”

Yet sin will blind your mind to resist Him all the more.

Then you become like Judas; can you draw the parallel?

To reject Christ as your Savior is to die and go to Hell.
