TRAINING A CHILD
Proverbs 22:6

“Train up a child in the way he should go.”
You only have one chance, you know.
Men are born into sin and going astray.
It all starts from the very first day.
To prove that it’s true if you believe me or not,
To lie doesn’t have to be taught.
They’re only young once. Small chance afterward,
To teach them the truth of God’s word.
A garden will grow both flowers and weeds.
It’s up to you as to which one succeeds.
The weeds will grow fast without any care.
But a child will need lots of prayer.
Their mind’s like a sponge or a brand new clean slate.
Their eyes are like a wide open gate.
So watch what goes in by teaching God’s truth.
Do it now while they’re still in their youth.
