Five years ago today my mom graduated to be with my Lord and Savior. I was her caregiver in my home for 3 years. It was a beautiful fall day just like today and with beautiful Christian music playing softly in the background, my sisters, brother and our families surrendered our momma to the Lord. This is a poem I wrote in her memory. I hope you don't mind, but I would like to share it with you my Adland Friends.
Momma isn't crying now
Our Sweet Lord took her home.
He took her in his loving arms
And said dear child don't cry.
For today you'll be in paradise.
Where the streets are paved in gold.
And there you'll meet your beloved Sam,
Ready to take you home.
A home your eyes will not believe.
Filled with all your family.
And you will laugh and dance and sing,
For all eternity.
