GREATER AND GRANDER

There’s a greater and grander day that will come.

That is the day when the Lord calls me home.

Whether by death or the rapture divine,

What an inheritance that then will be mine

I am so rich, in this present time,

Because of the promises of God that are mine.

First, I’ve been give a blessed salvation

Second, I am spared eternal damnation.

Third, I’m an heir, joint heir with God’s Son.

Fourth, I’m assured that the battle is won.

I could go on like this concerning my lot.

But I do not know just how much time you have got.

If you cannot see all God has outpoured,

Just count up the days you will be with the Lord.

There is a greater and grander day yet for me.

Each day will be greater in eternity.
