BUT  I  CANNOT

Here’s a truth that must be taught,

“While others may, I cannot.”

Not everything is black or white.

Sometimes a choice needs more insight.

The choices we make must start with prayer.

Could you take Jesus with you there?

Will God be pleased with what you choose?

If not, be sure that you will loose.

Will God be honored by my choice?

Will what I do make Him rejoice?

Could evil ever be spoken of me?

Is my good intent what they will see?

In this dilemma sometimes we’re caught.

“While others may, I cannot.”

The road most traveled is very wide.

Don’t be swept by the current tide.
