JUST  DO  WHAT  YOU  CAN

Mark 14:8

Mary of Bethany gave what she had.

Though some of His men thought it was bad.

For as she poured ointment on Jesus’ head,

“She’s wasting good money,” some of them said.

But Jesus replied, “Just leave her alone.”

“For what she has done, she will be known.”

What she was doing, He understood.

Then Jesus said, “She has done what she could.”

Is all that you have just a meager amount?

Five loaves and two fish are not much to count.

But given to God became a great feast.

So give what you can, even in the least.

Sometimes this is all the Savior will ask.

It may not be much, just a small simple task.

If done for the Savior it will be good.

Remember He said, “She hath done what she could.”
