Stop  and  Think

Poems are often written about God’s love and grace.

But do we keep in mind that we’ll stand before God’s face?

Some only think of now while believing Satan’s lies.

The fear of God is missing it’s not before their eyes.

They care not for God’s word, they don’t respect His law.

He just is not important, nor is He held in awe.

They think that in the future things will all work out somehow.

But the day is coming near when every knee shall bow.

God gives a dreadful warning to those who know God’s word,

Who live their lives for self, as though they’ve never heard.

Listen to God’s prompting and hear the Spirit’s call.

Do not live your life as if, there is no God at all.

It is a fearful thing to fall into God’s hand.

His patience will run out and in judgment you will stand.

Repent and turn to Christ before it is too late,

Or reap what you have sown and hell will be your fate.

Hebrews  10:29      “ Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought  worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of Grace.”
