What a privilege for me to introduce to you a fairly new member here but she has made some tracks to our little community here pretty quickly i must say. A woman of courage to say the least, a woman of God and proud mother with a loving family, she hails from Lebanon, Indiana and her story is one amazing one, a testimony of her life, i praise her for her perseverance and faith, my sister in Christ Beverly Kersey. A little info of Lebanon;

Lebanon Community School Corporation has six schools under its jurisdiction: four elementary schools, a middle school and a high school. Lebanon High School has won 6 education awards in the past 10 years.
Former Mayor Jim Acton (Democratic Party) did not file to run for a fifth term, which left the 2007 election open to new candidates.
The last mayoral election occurred in November 2007. The candidates were: Republican John Lasley, President of the Lebanon City-Council, Democrat Roger Neal, current Lebanon Community School Corporation School Board member and former Lebanon Parks and Recreation Director, and independent candidate George Piper who formerly was an editor at The Lebanon Reporter', which is Boone County's daily newspaper.
Democrat Roger Neal had clashed with the City Council (of which John Lasley was President) in the past regarding funding for the Parks Department, of which Neal was the director. Following this clash, Mayor Jim Acton fired Roger Neal from the position of Parks and Recreation Director without citing any reason.
Republican City Council President John Lasley won the election with 48% of the vote, to Democrat Roger Neal's 27% and Independent George Piper's 25%.
30% of registered voters cast votes in the 2007 election. Folks give her a warm welcome thank you. WE LOVE YOU BEVERLY God_bless
Dear Brother Thomas:
Please let me know if I have said to much in my testimonial.
I must say I have had a very happy and fulfilled life. I have learned many lessons over these past 59 ½ years and I believe that my Lord and Savior still has much more for me to learn. I hope I can do it a lot more gracefully these next 10 or 20 years than I have these last 59.
I was born the 31st of March, 1949 as the only child of Kenneth and Juanita. At the age of 9 months my parents divorced and my mother married Samuel. I took my first steps to the most loving and awesome step father a child could only hope to have. My mother and daddy Sam had four children of which I was raised with and my Father Kenneth married a most loving and caring stepmother Mary Ann. They had two children. So I suppose I am an only child with 3 brother and 3 sisters.
My life was not without trials and heartaches, I suppose the majority of this world has had trials and heartaches as well. I have never spoken of these to a public before, so this is a little tough for me to do. I guess the reason I have been several weeks in completing this for Thomas is because of the testimony I am about to give.
When I was 18 I became an Information Operator for my local telephone company. The following summer I was in an automobile accident and I came close to loosing my life. I was unable to work for approximately 7 months. In February of 1969, after getting off work at 10:00 p.m., I rushed to the bus stop to catch the last bus home. While waiting I was accosted and raped. The man was never caught and I received post traumatic stress disorder. The following spring, I decided to be intimate with my boyfriend and became pregnant. My child was born two months premature and I was forced by my mother to place him with an adoption agency.
This was the hardest thing ever in my life to do. I cried and prayed and begged, mother would not relent. I had 4 sisters and brothers to think about. I had no job and the hospital wasn’t sure if my son would need years of care that I could not provide.
My minister had told me that if you ever have a difficult decision to make. To take your bible, close your eyes, open the bible and point. God’s Holy Word will give you the answer every time. So I did and I came to John 3:16.
“For God So Loved The World He Gave His Only Begotten Son That Whosoever Believes In Him, Thou They May Perish, They Shall Have Ever Lasting Life”
WOW!! God Gave His Only Son For Me!! If God Could Give His Only Son For Me, Then I could give mine to someone that could not have any. So I signed the papers.
I later married and had two children a handsome son and then a gorgeous daughter. After 15 years of married my husband and I parted peacefully and we still today remain friends. I then married about 6 years later to my wonderful husband Jim. We now have a blended family of 5 children and 13 grandchildren. Ain’t God Great?
A year and about 6 months ago my husband Jim was diagnosed with 3rd stage inoperable lung cancer, with 5 lymph nodes involved. The doctor said without treatment he had about 90 days to live. I told the doctor that only God knows when it is time to go home. We began notifying everyone we knew and Jim’s daughter notified all of her forums and friends, along with our church to please say a prayer everyday for God’s will to be done in regards to this cancer. Everyday I would sing to my husband “Because He Lives I can Face Tomorrow, Because I know He Holds The Future and Life Is Worth The Living Just Because He Lives”, and after six weeks of radiation and 6 chemo treatments, the power of prayer, the gift of healing and the miracles of modern medicine my husband as of the date of this letter is in total remission, no signs of cancer anywhere.
The only thing that was lost through this last year and a half was my job as a paralegal. They let me go. To much time off and they felt my heart was no longer in my job. Imagine that! Whatever! As far as I was concern that was the Lord’s way of telling me it is time to stay home with my husband. So I decided this April, to try my hand at a home business on the internet. I am not having much success at it so far, but I believe that God will lead me where he wants me to be. He knows I need a paycheck and he knows that we have an extreme amount of medical bills. Where the Lord leads me I will follow always.
Always pray and ask the Lord to lead you. If you can’t hear him, then say a short prayer asking him to show you the way. Take your Bible and Open It, Close Your Eyes and Point. Your Answer Will Be There.
God Bless You And Keep You Safe
God Make His Face To Shine Upon You
And Give You Peace!
Amen and Amen
