SUNDAY SHOWCASE_ Featuring_JAYSON VANBEEKOM 08/17/08
8/16/2008 7:17:13 PM
Greetings Adlandpro members, got a suprise for you this week, this weeks feature is a young marketer amongst our midths a son of a good friend who is also a good marketer, he also hails from Michigan. A little tweek in this weeks info....

The State of Michigan is a state blessed with the riches of unspoiled nature: the world's longest freshwater coastline, lakes that feel like oceans, shimmering beaches, miles and miles of cherry orchards, glorious sunrises and sunsets, daytime skies of the deepest blue, nighttime skies scattered with stars.

Home to more than 100 public beaches, some of the highest freshwater sand dunes in the world, stunning multi-colored sandstone cliffs, two National Lakeshores and the only national marine sanctuary in the Great Lakes--the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary in Lake Huron. More than 100 lighthouses, numerous maritime museums, ten shipwreck-diving preserves and historic military fortifications rim Michigan's Great Lakes shoreline.

Lakes, campgrounds, wildlife refuges and 99 Michigan state parks and recreation areas create a wide variety of recreational pursuits. Rivers for water sports, and thousands of miles of hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling trails thread their way among some 100 species of trees.

Long days, relaxing weather and more than 800 pristine Michigan courses make for the perfect tee time. Because being able to play all day is Pure Michigan.

Hundreds of islands dot Michigan waters. Isle Royale National Park is a remote wilderness retreat in Lake Superior where wolves and moose roam free. Mackinac Island, located in the Straits of Mackinac, is a lush 19th-century resort community fixed firmly in the Victorian era, a car-free island dominated by an 18th-century fort and the more than a century-old Grand Hotel, America's largest summer resort hotel.

The Upper Peninsula, which is 90 percent forested, retains its aura of accessible wilderness. Vast wildlife and waterfowl refuges, 150 waterfalls, iron and copper mines, the Soo Locks (where ocean-going freighters make the 21-foot leap from Lake Superior to Lake Huron) are within an easy drive of one another.

The State of Michigan offers a near infinite array of moments that live forever in memory.

Grand Rapids boasts a high-energy, walkable downtown with more than 75 restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment venues and museums. Located just a few miles away, discover the splendor of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, a 125-acre botanical garden and world-class sculpture park, or take in a round of golf at one of several championship courses. Grand Rapids is also the gateway city to Michigan's West Coast, a region of unparalleled natural wonders dominated by the crystal-clear waters of Lake Michigan. There’s always plenty to do in Grand Rapids thanks to a thriving performing arts community which includes Michigan’s only professional ballet company, four downtown museums, a world-class botanical gardens and sculpture park, festivals, fairs, concerts and special events. The night is yours with an overnight stay in Grand Rapids.        Take in a concert, enjoy a late night dinner and dance the night away knowing your hotel is just minutes away. Discover a rich nightlife, superb restaurants and amazing cultural centers and events all in a hip historic setting and within walking distance of each other.  Hey Jason we love ya Kid!                                                                                 I like to do what most other eighteen year-old dudes like; I watch TV for long periods of time, eat junk food (especially before dinner), play video games, and the occasional drawing. Someday I hope to be one of the greatest video game designers in the industry. I never got anything higher than a 2.0 on my high school GPA, but thats because I was always sleeping, not because I'm a moron. I don't now, nor have I ever had a job. I get by on Christmas and birthday money, or by scrounging the streets for loose change at night like a bum. Just kidding. I also think taking showers is overrated. Not kidding. I know wrestling is fake, but I still like to watch it. And finally, I love eating hot sause plain. I could chug any type of hot sause and not be bothered by it. I'm just that crazy. http://community.adlandpro.com/go/346262/default.aspx
