Hawaiian Bread
5/26/2008 5:50:52 PM

I haven't tried this bread yet, but it sounds delicious. When I make it, I will cut down on the sugar.

2 3/4 cups flower

1tsp. baking powder

2 cups sugar (or less)

1 tsp. salt

1 cup chopped nuts

3 eggs

1 cup oil

1 tsp. vanilla

8 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice

1/2 cup flaked coconut

2 mashed bananas

Combine dry ingredients, then add rest of ingredients. Stir until blended. Place in 2 well-greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

Hi Donna,

Are you going through Cook Books?  All these recipes are great.  I think I just gained 5 pounds jut by reading these. Yes, I will try this one too.

Hi Myrna,

Yes, I was leafing through a cook book I got at Goodwill and wanted to share a few of the recipes that sounded yummy. I can't wait to try some of them.

Let me know which ones you really like, after you try the recipes.
