You may or may not know I'm originally from Poland . I came to Canada about 17 years ago.
I really like the place where I live now and can't imagine any other more accommodating and welcoming place than Canada . Living in Canada allowed me to really expend my own avenues and horizons and do what I like. I believe every immigrant (no matter how welcoming a new place is) has days when he or she remembers the places, people and friends from their old country and feels sentimental and wonders what it would be like if one would just stay in their place of origin.

Being really happy where I am and having my kids who grew up here, I feel that I have two countries I really like and I'm proud of.
Being around technology for a while and seeing what Adlandpro community does for people, I have started a new idea which will allow me to be in two countries I really love and maybe help somebody while I'm doing this.
I have created a community for Polish people living abroad. This is a community much like the Adlandpro community, with the difference that its goal is to connect people who have Polish roots and are living away from the country which they left not necessarily as their choice.
The site operates now in two languages; English and Polish.

You might ask why I'm sending you this letter.

1. If you are Polish or have Polish connections, this community is for you. You can find friends, Polish organizations in your area or anywhere in the world, you can start your groups related to you and your community, share pictures and keep in touch with your family.

2. If you know anybody who is Polish, you can let them know about this new idea and just send them this letter. If you like the Adlandpro community, you know that you are recommending a proven product with an owner who stands behind it and now with an additional reason.

Helen here, I am first generation Aussie, my parents were Norwegian  and although I have been back there there is I believe no better place than "down under" to bring your children up.

And I agree with you that although you live in one country, part of your heart is elsewhere. My parents went back after WW2 and I have a brother and sister there, and although I miss them dearly I have my children and grand children and great-grand children to think about, and if I was to go back I wouldnot be in close proximity to see them all.

So in ending I agree with you to love love both countries dearly.
